COVID-19 Response and Safety Measures

At Aroka Thai Spa, the safety and well-being of our employees and clients are our top priorities. We have implemented rigorous safety measures following BC COVID-19 guidelines and Provincial Health Authority recommendations:

Cleaning and Disinfection Protocols:

- Regular disinfection of all high-touch areas and objects such as products, front desk, doors, doorknobs, windows, lounge area, washrooms, massage tables, mats, face-rests, tabletops, light switches, and spa tools using CDC recommended cleaning products.

- Increased availability of hand sanitizers at the front desk, staff room, and washrooms.

- Daily deep cleanings of our premises before and after business hours.

Employee Health and Safety:

- Providing employees with necessary information, protocols, and updates to maintain their health and protect the public.

- Employees are required to wear masks and wash hands before and after treatments.

- Mandatory temperature checks for employees before entering the workplace.

Mandatory Actions Implemented:

- Temperature checks for employees and guests upon arrival. Individuals with a temperature above 37.5 °C (99.5°F) will be asked to reschedule their appointment.

- Mandatory mask-wearing for all guests and staff during their visit.

- Guests are required to sanitize their hands upon entry using provided hand sanitizers.

- Temporarily ceasing cash payments; guests are encouraged to use our Sabai Thai Spa App for contactless self-check-in and check-out.

- All services require advance appointments; no walk-ins permitted.

- Temporary suspension of in-store retail product sales, serving beverages, and providing magazines in the lounge area.

We Need Your Help!

- Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before and after treatments.

- Wear a face mask to your appointment and keep it on during your visit.

- Attend appointments alone; refrain from bringing companions.

- Use tissues to cover coughs or sneezes, dispose of them immediately, and wash hands afterward.

- Do not schedule an appointment if you have traveled outside Canada in the past months without a minimum 14-day self-quarantine.

- Conduct a temperature check at home before your appointment; reschedule if you have flu-like symptoms or a temperature exceeding 37.5 °C (99.5°F).
